The Project:

American high school students who were learning Japanese partnered with Japanese high school students who were learning English to create a bilingual website dedicated to business tourism in both countries.

Florida students were treated to an in-person visit from the Japanese Cultural Consul, and a Skype meeting allowed all the students to cross 14 time zones to chat, ask questions, and sing with their peers on the other side of the world. Thanks to tablet technology, American students even got to take a virtual tour of the Japanese high school!
